July 2012 - One Month

Well the month has officially flew by, granted his first 3 weeks were spent in the NICU but I really cannot believe that our little buddy is already a month old... one overwhelmed Momma here.

Monthly Favorites:

Johnson & Johnsons Hand & Face Wipes - Gentle on baby's skin & they smell fantastic.  Great item to have in the diaper bag because well you never know..

Lansinoh Nursing Pads - I couldn't go a day without these, literally.   Had to ask Ben to go buy more since I was running low and although I felt really bad he brought back the jumbo box.. score!

Lansinoh Soothies Gel Pads - If you are breastfeeding (or pumping) these will become your best friend.  They are ridiculously expensive.. but they are amazing!  Your nipples will thank you.  I have searched store shelves to stay stocked up because these are a definite must have.  I actually put mine in the freezer.. the initial shock is pretty intense but you need it!  Also, the Lanolin cream they make is a must as well (I use that as chap stick from time to time).

Kindle or the Kindle app - to read fairy tales and other books, of course! :)

Swaddlepod - THE BEST swaddle ever!!  Caleb loves putting his hands over his ears/face and sometimes he can get one hand out but these are amazing!  I am forever grateful to his Nana for buying him/us these.

Bumperless Crib Bedding Set - Added this to my registry thinking no one would purchase it (since it was about $115) but low and behold my best friend did and we are so glad she did.  When Caleb came home from the NICU he slept in the cradle my Dad actually made for me and then we switched him to his crib and he sleeps pretty good apart from his grunts and groans.  Plus the pattern is gears, it could not fit any more perfect into the transportation theme of his room.

We are very grateful for every gift we received.. even the doubles.. because that gave us a chance to take back the doubles and pick up things we needed or wanted.  So THANK YOU!!!
